Protected workshops

What are sheltered workshops

A sheltered workshop is the generic name for a workshop for people with disabilities. Sheltered workshops are involved in a variety of activities, but most often in the production of various items, which they then sell to earn money to support their activities. Sheltered workshops are often run by various civic associations and other non-profit organisations, including municipalities. In most cases, it is difficult to find these workshops, which is why the project Protected workshops for people with disabilities was created on 30 June 2017, with the aim of linking the public and the protected workshops so that it is easier to use their services.
